Description
The Cras Blanc Monopole comes from the heart of the 2.5 hectare Chardonnay block 'Grand Bessy' on the estate. From the first vintage that Marc made in 2014, he keeps the grapes from the middle part of the vineyard separate to make this wine. This special cuvée then matures for at least 18 months in new and used barrels.
The wine is refined, with a nice wood influence, something nutty, good acidity, compact in its youth and has a great future. A jewel.
