In the 1930s, great-grandfather Constant Gendron managed to buy a small piece of land of 1.82 ha in Bouzy. Where the area was mainly planted with Pinot Noir, Constant decided to plant only Chardonnay vines. As time went by, generation after generation managed to buy the small plots, spread over different parts of the Côte des Blancs. From Cramant, to Marais, Avize and Chouilly.
