Description
Fine summer blend (Sauvignon Blanc, Verdil and Muscat) from Valencia. Aromatic floral, with fresh acids to keep it balanced. Minerality, stone fruit and blossom alternate.
Bodegas Los Frailes is located 80 kilometers southwest of Valencia and has been a family business since 1771. The surface where wine is made consists of 10,000 m2. The old underground cellar is from before 1800 and in the new part, built in 2000, the Velazquez family works with the latest technologies but also biodynamic in the vineyard. They let nature take its course and intervene as little as possible.
In the vineyard 'La Era' 3 grape varieties are grown: Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Verdil. In the soil white slate and sand (white rendzina). The vines, with an average age of 10 years, have deep roots, and even in dry years no extra 'stress'.
