Smooth, lots of juice and fruitiness in a magnum. In the nose ripe red fruit and herbs, soft tannins and a light freshness in the aftertaste.
The wine estate has been owned by Catherine and Jean-Mary Le Bihan since 1999 and has a total area of 27 hectares. Catherine and Jean-Mary are real farmers, they grow organic grains and sunflowers in addition to grapes, and breed Arabian horses. The Bihan family is one of the founders of the largest organic wine fair in the world, Millesimé Bio in Montpellier.
Côtes de Duras is a small appellation east of Bordeaux between Bergerac, l'Entre-Deux-Mers and Côtes du Marmandais. On the small appellation of only 2,000 ha. mainly Chenin blanc and the red Bordeaux blend are grown.
