Description
Floral, earthy, olives to beautifully spicy. This beautifully colored Côte-Rôtie from Jean-Michel Stéphan is wonderfully diverse and undoubtedly falls into the category of collector's item. With a little air, the soft purple color radiates something fleshy that continues in the long finish with a beautiful, smoky touch and elegant tannins. Maceration carbonique as so characteristic of Jean-Michel and so unusual for the Côte-Rôtie and a 50/50 maturation on stainless steel and old wooden barrels. Eccentric, exceptional and incredibly pure.
