Description
'Coal' is a sinister name for a beautiful wine. Because 'coal' is what Michael and Emma saw the landscape around them change into after devastating forest fires in 2020. A huge loss of biodiversity as a result. Fortunately, their plots of vineyards were spared. This Chardonnay matures for no less than 24 months in large wooden barrels. A long maturation, which also gives a long wine: notes of flint, bitter citrus, wax and resin. An energetic and complex wine. Will continue to mature perfectly for at least another 10 years.
