Château Couronneau dates back to the 15th century, given its architecture, its four towers, its loopholes and its wide moat. The Cartier family, descendants of the famous discoverer of Canada, lived in this castle for more than 3 centuries.
The vineyards are located in Ligueux, 5 km from Sainte Foy la Grande. The plots are at an altitude of 180 m and cover 3 ha of the total vineyard area of over 38 ha. Soil of clay and limestone, average planting density of 5,000 vines per ha
