Description

Inky wine with aromas of black cherries. Lots of structure and depth. Aged for seven months on the skins in amphora. An outsider in the Lapalu line-up.

Jean Claude Lapalu has been making his own wine since 1995. Until then, he supplied the grapes from his conventionally farmed vineyards to the cooperative, just like his father and grandfather. In six years, he converted to biodynamic viticulture. The vineyards of Jean Claude Lapalu are located around the southernmost cru of the Beaujolais: Brouilly.
