Description
A delicious sparkling wine from the Loire Valley made using the traditional method of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Biscuit dough, lemon curd, white flowers, beeswax and salty with a fine sparkling mousse.
The Tète wines are wines of friends: 4 winegrowers (Philippe, Nicolas, Baptiste and Vivian) each make wine under their own name and for this project they each contribute a quarter of the wine.
Several small plots, all less than 1 hectare. Various soils of clay loam with flint, sandy soil on flint clay schists.
The family estate Domaine Grosbois is located in the Chinon wine region, in the heart of the Loire Valley. The wine cellar is an old 15th century farmhouse converted into a winery. The estate itself covers a total of 12 hectares on the high slopes of Panzoult in Chinon. Owner Nicolas has been working organically for many years and is now 100% biodynamic (DEMETER certified). The vines are 40 years old and have a yield of 35 hectoliters per hectare.
