Description
R&B stands for Rhythm & Blues in this case also for Rosso e Bianco, or Rouge et Blanc, a blend of red and white grapes: St. Laurent (50%) and Grünver Veltliner (50%). Grapes are picked and vinified separately and later blended together.
Pittnaer himself about the R&B: "Crystal clear, red berries, open and inviting. Currants, cherries and mandarins. Structured, a bit rough, which is certainly nice. Not a softly brushed everyday wine, but a real wine with rough edges, character, dynamics, energy and aromas, which are always red and fresh, even further in the mouth. Can easily be cellared for a few years."
