Description
Light, unpretentious and fresh red wine. Fruit, fruit, fruit and then a light pepper. The fun is in the lightness!
The Domaine Pithon-Paille was founded in 2008, but Jo Pithon (one of the four founders) has been working his vineyards in the "low-intervention" way since 1978 (which was really unheard of at the time). Pithon-Paille is therefore rightly a pioneer in the natural wine movement. The vineyards (13 ha) are located in the Loire Valley 25 km south of Angers.
